If you’re hoping to start or reinvent a garden with Daisy Chain, a consultation is the first step in that process- It allows me to assess your space, soil and ambitions in order to offer the most sound advice for your garden. In addition to the on-site visit, I will provide you with a garden design, detailed suggestions for your space, and a project estimate. For existing gardens, a garden consultation can be useful to discuss soil and plant health, pests, diseases, maximizing yields, garden design and healthy growing practices.

Planning out your garden can be tricky. Perhaps you're wondering how early you can plant Kale, or if it’s too late to plant Tomatoes??? Garden Planning refers to a planting schedule that tells you exactly what to plant and when to plant it. Garden Design refers to the physical layout of the garden within your existing space. Whether that’s an organically shaped in-ground design, neatly built Cedar raised beds or a balanced combination of the two.  I can provide plans for both or one of these depending on your needs. 

Using no-till and organic growing practices, I offer brush clearing, garden bed formation, raised bed construction, compost and woodchip hauling, and soil amendment to implement your garden design. For those who want to make use of their green “waste” and food scraps, I offer compost bin design and construction custom built to fit your environment.

Perhaps you want a productive vegetable or flower garden but don’t have the time to get your hands dirty. Or maybe your garden is overwhelmed by weeds. No worries! I’m happy to offer my help with maintenance services such as planting, pruning, trellising and weed control. With a wealth of experience and a keen attention to detail, you can relax knowing that your garden is in good hands.
